Apply in spring or fall, when soil temperatures are mild and your lawn is actively growing. You can also use it mid-season if your lawn shows signs of compaction — like puddling, thin areas, or poor color even after watering.

1. If using our hose-end sprayer, attach nozzle to garden hose (Fits most hoses).
2. Turn on Water and turn sprayer dial to on
3. Spray Lawn in a Side-to-Side Pattern. 
4. REPEAT every 1 – 3 months during times of the year when the grass is growing and needs to be mowed regularly. Use in spring, summer, fall.

Water in thoroughly after using with irrigation or rainfall. For best results, avoid applying before heavy rain, and repeat monthly during periods of high stress or compaction.

What is Aeroflow? How does Aeroflow work?

Aeroflow is a soil-penetrating formula that helps break up compacted soils and improve the flow of air, water, and nutrients into the root zone. It is especially helpful in heavy clay soils or high-traffic areas. Aeroflow allows you to skip the heavy machinery and hand aerators for a simple, hose-applied formula that takes 10 to 20 minutes.

How do I know if I need to aerate?

If your grass feels spongy or doesn’t spring back, or you notice water pooling or running off when soaking in, you need to aerate. You can also dig a small section and notice the roots. If they are less than 2-3”, it’s time to aerate. Lawns that receive heavy use from kids and pets are likely compacted. And if your grass is struggling - thin, patchy, or yellowing - despite watering and fertilizing - it can indicate that nutrients can’t get to the roots.

Why is aeration important?

Aeration improves soil structure, which leads to better root development, healthier grass, and a lawn that responds better to treatments, seeding and fertilizer applications.

How much does a bottle of Aeroflow cover?

Each bottle covers about 2,500 square feet - about the size of a tennis court. For reference, a 5,500 square foot lawn is about the size of a basketball court. This measurement does not include your house or landscaping features - just determine your lawn size by the amount of turf you are treating.

Is Aeroflow safe for my kids and pets?

How long do I need to wait to let my dog play on the lawn?

We recommend watering first to reduce minor eye and skin irritation due to the pH of our products.
